 North East

Redcar

Beach- South Gare.

There are 2 locations which afford beginners excellent conditions; Paddys Hole and the lagoon. Paddys;is excellent 2 hours before and after high tide, the place never gets any deeper that approx. 4ft. It works well on westerlys, NE and Northerly.

Majuba Road.

This is best kited on anything from westry working around to easterly. There is nothing but open sea which is ideal for long runs out.

Humberstan

Bridlington

Fraisthorpe Beach

Situated next to Bridlington in Bridlington Bay, offers an excellent kiteing venue. Ideal in NE, N, SE winds with a huge sandy beach which is normally quiet except for bank holidays.

Remains waist-high for about 100 yrds at low tide so is pretty good for intermidates. Also, nothing behind the beach except for fields of sheep.

Can sometimes get a bit of swell but normally is quite flat but keep an eye of the fishing nets and fishermen.... apart from that the place is a safe-haven.

There is normally kitersurfers if the wind is right and there are always kite buggies and boards blasting up and down the beach a little further down towards Bridlington.
