Poole Windfest kicked off on the Saturday with Christian and Karine doing intermediate workshops for registered riders.  Saturday night was party night!

The wind graced the event on the Sunday with it's presence and  the downwind slalom racing was even more competitive than we could have imagined. The ladies certainly surprised many with their foot to the floor attitude. All 3 finals were proper nail biting stuff, with positions swapping at each blink of an eye.

Unfortunately the wind opted for a gusty afternoon offering. However the enthusiasm for the big air and best tricks comp remained. Encouraged by some fine riding from Animal Team riders Jo Ciastula and Tom Court, competitors managed to pull some glorious tricks out of the bag and find the odd gust to get right up there.
