Kite surfing courses (includes everything you need for the course; all equipment, instruction, insurance, wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets etc); 1 day £100 2 day £190 Private tuition £40 per hour BKSA Instructor Training courses - £349 per person (plus £30 for literature) Facilities: Toilets, food outlets, guest houses - all local to teaching area. Plenty of parking at the beach. Changing Rooms : Yes Safety boat : 3 (AVON inflatables and a Monterey) Classroom: Yes Tidal conditions: All courses operated from mid to low tide Prevailing winds: All wind directions from west to east with any south in is best. Any other info: Hayling Island is approximately 5 miles from Portsmouth and easily accessible from most areas particularly London which is about 1 hour 15 mins by car or train. Hayling Island boasts some of the best kitesurfing conditions in the UK, due to the West Winner sand bar, which is visible from mid to low tide and creates perfect learning conditions with flat shallow water over a kilometre out to sea.Hayling Island Kitesurf School was established in 1999. Instruction is carried out by our team of experienced BKSA instructors and of course the owner of Hayling Island Kitesurf School, Chris Bull. Chris has been a qualified BKSA/IKO instructor since 1999, a competitive Pro Kitesurfer since 2000, a BKSA National Trainer and over 12 years of power kiting knowledge - there is very little Chris doesn’t know about kite surfing and kiting in general! All equipment, tuition and insurance are included in the price. We have a huge selection of wetsuits available if required and we use only the latest kite surfing equipment in our school.
