BKSA Event Dates 2010
After a very successful and windy 2009 the BKSA are proud to announce there Events dates for 2010
Building on the concept of Kiteival (4 National Championship Events – Kitesurfing Freestyle and Course, Freestyle Kitelandboard, Freestyle Kitebuggy) the British championships in al l disciplines will be decided with these and some standalone events
April 16^th-18^th  National Course Racing and Wave Jam – Watergate - Cornwall
May 21^st-23^rd Kiteival – Redcar – Tees Valley
June 18^th-20^thKiteival – Swansea – South Wales
July 9^th-10th National Freestyle – Hunstanton - Norfolk
August 6^th-8th Kiteival – Barrow - Cumbria
September 11^th-12^thNational Course Racing – Poole - Dorset
September 17^th-19^th Kiteival – Ayr – Ayrshire - Scotland
September 20^th-26^thWavemasters 2010 – TBC
October 14^th-17^thKiteival Finals – Blackpool
October 18^th- 24^th British Speed Championships - Weymouth
All events are subject to funding and contracts – and may be cancelled up to 30 days prior
Other events may be added to the calendar
A reviewed rule and scoring book will be released mid February

BKSA National Freestyle Tour 09

Now in its 9th year the BKSA tour dates are as follows-

3 Super size KITEIVAL events with 4 National Titles being run at the same Venue-

These will be Swansea, Blackpool and Redcar

3 Freestyle Kitesurfing
3 Course Racing Kitesurfing
3 Freestyle Kitelandboarding
3 Freestyle Kitebuggy

4 Additional Kitesurf Freestyle (which count to overall title)

All above events are subject to funding and – if funding is not agreed events may be pulled 30 days prior to dates .

Wave Event

Due to the really poor first half of the year at the inability to run any of the provisioned Wave Masters events it has been decided to have a one off 5 day event

Location – Fraserburgh Bay and/or St.Combs

Speed Rankings 2009

Throughout 2009 we will be running the BKSA GPS Speed rankings.

This will be a full list of up to date ranking of UK based riders using the international GPS ranking list.

You can do it anywhere anytime you like – Awards for the fastest Men and Ladies awards will be given out at the end of Year Prizegiving at the end of October – so get speeding – on the water!

Coaching Days

The BKSA will have more coaching days to BKSA members who have done a level 2 courses – to help with getting back on the water after the winter break or improve your riding

The courses taken by some of the top UK coaches will be taking place in the spring/ summer of 09
