Behind any successful training and coaching scheme is infrastructure.

The BKSA is no exception and has been training instructors and certifying schools since 1999 when the sport began in the UK.

In 2007 we redesigned our training scheme for instructors and have continued to grow this to the present day.

Alongside the high quality BKSA schools network, which comprehensively covers the UK. We also encompass a number of British run centers abroad and work with all the main UK based kite surfing holiday companies.

Becoming a BKSA instructor now gives endless work opportunities, with instructors now teaching on every continent worldwide.

It is also has a realistic career path to follow from level one, to senior, trainer and examiner in both land and water based kite sports.

As a National Governing Body the BKSA takes safety standards, training, and sport progression seriously and are one of the leaders and most respected teaching schemes worldwide.
