Kitesurfing has a fast learning curve more so than say surfing or windsurfing. Technique is more important than strength, which is why there are so many youngsters and lightweight adults kitesurfing.

We are BKSA approved and fully insured and offer lessons of the highest quality with our very experienced qualified instructor.

We were one of the first - if not the first - BKSA all year round school to use a rigid hull inflatable to teach from.

Using a boat means that we are not affected by tide or wind direction so much, and can move freely around the bay which is between 3-4 miles across. This means that our cancellation rate is lower than schools who don't use boats.

Costs

  • 2 hours Powerkiting from            £35 pp
    1-day Kitebuggying course         £85 pp
    2-day kitesurfing course             £180 pp
    3 day kitesurfing course             £250 pp
    Extra Water Day                       £95 pp

Directions

From the M5 and Exeter follow signs for Torquay.  On the approach to Torquay follow sign for town centre P, then sign for Ellacombe, right turn at mini roundabout next to coach station and follow Lymington Rd until left turn up St Marychurch Rd, then right turn at mini roundabout to Hatfield Rd, then take 3rd turning on the right Victoria Rd
