The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park provides a stunning setting for all our Watersports courses and Watersports lessons. At Newgale we offer: Power Kiting lessons, Kiteboarding lessons, Kitesurfing lessons, Stand Up Paddleboarding lessons, Zapcat Powerboating courses, Wakeboarding, Surfing lessons, Coasteering and Guided day trips. In the winter we re-locate to Switzerland to provide Snow Kiting Courses, Snow Kiting Trips, Skiing Holidays and Snowboarding Holidays.

For Kitesurfing Wales is the ideal location for learning and progressing, there are bays and estuaries providing flat water, huge beaches offering plenty of space and challenging conditions for the avid freestyle or waveriding kitesurfer. Big Blue has been an established school teaching kitesurfing wales since 2001. Our kitesurfing lessons have developed to provide the best introduction to and progression through a wide range of kitesports.
The market is rapidly increasing for watersports Wales and Newgale in particular is a perfect location for learning and practicing a wide range of beach sports and surf sports.

Course Structures

• 1 hour Power Kiting
• 2-4 hour Kite-landboarding, Beginner to Advanced
• 2 day Kitesurfing Courses.
• Coastal Cruising and Down winders.
• Always flexible to tailor made courses.

Course Costs

• Power Kiting wkd. £20 we. £25 per person per hour
• Kite-landboarding wkd. £20 we. £25 per person per hour.
• 2 day Kitesurfing wkd. £150 we. £170 per person.

Facilities

All equipment supplied bar wetsuits which can be hired from
Newsurf next door. Changing facilities and hot showers available.
Class room for theory lessons.

Location - Newgale Sands, Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

Operating Season - April-December.

Safety boat
Zap Cat  with 40 hp for downwinder super vision, safety cover and
teaching.

Tidal Conditions

Beach available 2 hours after high tide to 2 hours before. Negligible
tidal flow.

Prevailing Conditions

Teaching available in all wind directions depending on size of swell.
General Kitesurfing possible in all directions from N to S through W.
