Will Bennet is 30 years old and a highly respected surfer and kite surfer. He is fanatical about the waves and wind and passionate about seeing others enjoying the ocean.

From the age of 18 Will taught windsurfing around the world before learning in 2002 to kite surf in the Caribbean, where he trained and worked alongside Andre Phillip at Kite Antigua. 

After dedicating 3 years as head instructor of the Extreme Academy at the Watergatebay hotel, Will decided to make a kite surfing school of excellence, Atlantic Riders.

As well as teaching will has traveled extensively and ridden in some of the most diverse and challenging conditions out there.  He is also the surfboard editor for Kitesurf Magazine where he writes a technical article about strapless kitesurfing.

This school is completely unique in the way it is customized to all levels from complete beginner to gifted riders who want to set their sights higher and achieve goals beyond their own expectations.

Atlantic riders is the ONLY school in the UK to offer strapless board riding and will concentrate on any phase of kite surfing that you require from wave riding to freestyle on your twin tip board.  Will is a firm believer you can do any aspect of kite surfing to any level and that is what the school is dedicated to offer.

Where

Atlantic Riders is based at Watergate Bay in Cornwall.  Cornwall as well as being a beautiful location is an excellent venue to kitesurf.   Being a peninsular that juts into the Atlantic, as well as receiving plenty of wind and swell you are never more than 40min drive from a usable beach no matter what the wind direction.

When

Throughout the year we will be running 1:1 and 2:1 coaching for all levels.  And wave riding clinics for up to six people. 

With Will’s local knowledge you and your friends can receive coaching from the British Champion whilst riding the UK premier wave spots.   Clinics will run over the weekends so you can escape to Cornwall for a more relaxed pace of life, when your not tearing the waves apart!  Alternatively Will can visit your local beach or club to run clinics.
